Sleeved Plug Valves
Sleeved plug valves seat a tapered plug inside a compression sleeve — typically PTFE-based — that laps against the plug face and keeps the line sealed without injected sealant, which is what earns them the non-lubricated label in dry, sanitary or contamination-sensitive service. The range covers an execution in DN15 to DN350 rated Class 150 to 900 and PN16 to PN63, with bodies and bonnets in WCB, CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M, LCB or WC6, the plug in A105+ENP or stainless grades, and a PTFE or PPL sleeve under graphite/PTFE packing with an SS304+graphite gasket. Ends are flanged to ASME B16.5, socket-weld to ASME B16.11, butt-weld to ASME B16.25 or screwed to ASME B1.20.1, and the line is inspected and tested to API 598 and API 6D. Selection turns on sleeve material against the medium, the pressure class, and which of the four end styles the piping takes.
