V-Notch Segment Control Valves
V-notch segment control valves throttle with a notched, segmented ball that shears progressively through the seat as it rotates, keeping a characterized flow curve at small openings while the wedging notch action cuts through fibrous and solids-laden media that would plug globe trim. The range covers 1 to 20 inch (25-500 mm) at ASME Class 150 and 1 to 12 inch (25-300 mm) at Class 300, with shell ratings to 285-740 psi (1960-5100 kPa) and temperatures to 1000°F (540°C), shutoff per ANSI/FCI 70-2 (Class IV metal seats, Class VI reinforced PTFE seats, clearance seat at 5% of max flow when closed), flanged or flangeless bodies in carbon steel, 316 or 317 stainless steel or nickel-molybdenum alloy C, and handwheel, chainwheel, cylinder or diaphragm actuation. Selection turns on the seat/shutoff class against leakage requirements and the body alloy against the medium.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Ask for the documentation set with the inquiry — typical items (material certificates, test reports to the listed inspection standard, dimensional drawings) are confirmed and supplied with the quotation.
Quotation
Send the medium, temperature, pressure, size and connection for a quotation-ready inquiry. Lead time, MOQ and price are confirmed at quotation, together with the documents to be supplied with the order.
Sample & supply
Supply terms, order quantities and lead time are agreed per order — state the destination country and required schedule with the inquiry.
Storage & shipping
Store valves with seats and seals protected from UV, ozone and deformation, and keep end-face protectors on until installation; storage limits and shipping arrangements for the selected materials are confirmed at quotation.
