Single-Seated Control Valves
Single-seated control valves use one seat and one plug inside a globe body, giving tight shutoff and simple, well-characterized trim — the standard general-purpose modulating valve where a single unbalanced plug's force budget is acceptable. The range covers 1/2" to 12" at Class 150 to 600 / PN 16 to PN 64 / JIS 10K to 40K with flanged and welded end connections, WCB/WC6/WCC/CF8/CF8M/CF3/CF3M and alloy-steel bodies, SS304/SS316/SS316L trim, V-PTFE/PTFE/graphite gland packing, seat diameters 10 mm to 200 mm with rated Cv from 1.6 to 630 (equal percentage) and 1.8 to 690 (linear), multi-spring diaphragm actuation in air-to-close and air-to-open actions, throttling and on-off control modes, and a -17°C to +230°C service window. Selection turns on shutoff class, the unbalanced-pressure budget against the actuator, and end connection.
