Pressure Seal Globe Valves
Pressure seal globe valves seal the bonnet joint with the line pressure itself — the higher the internal pressure, the harder the gasket loads, which is why the design owns the top of the pressure range where bolted bonnets stop being practical. The range covers DN50 to DN400 at Class 1500 to Class 2500, with body, bonnet, yoke and wedge in A105, F304/316-series stainless, F51/F53 duplex, F11/F22 chrome-moly or LCB; stems and glands in F6a and stainless grades; cobalt-chromium hardfacing alloy-faced or stainless seats; graphite and PTFE packing on stainless-graphite gaskets. Ends span RF, RTJ, butt weld, socket weld and NPT. Design follows API 602 / BS 5352 / ASME B16.34 with API 598 / EN 12266 testing. Selection turns on class against design pressure, weld-end standard, and seat-facing versus medium.
