Non-Rising Stem Gate Valves

Non-rising stem gate valves rotate the stem in place so the wedge travels along the stem thread without the stem rising — the compact choice for buried service, chambers and tight headrooms where no stem extension can be tolerated, with position read from the number of turns. The range covers DN50 to DN600 at PN16 to PN40, with carbon-steel body and bonnet, carbon-steel disc faced with EPDM, stainless stems, EPDM sealing rings, O-rings and bonnet gaskets (graphite option), brass/bronze stem nuts and brass holding rings, ductile-iron handwheels, BS 5163 design, manufacture and face-to-face dimensions, EN 1092 flange ends, and a full PN16 dimension table (length, flange diameters, thickness, bolt pattern) from DN50 to DN600. Selection turns on the buried-versus-above-ground headroom decision, the BS/EN flange standard of the network, and resilient-seat duty against the medium.

Ordering & documentation

Documents

Ask for the documentation set with the inquiry — typical items (material certificates, test reports to the listed inspection standard, dimensional drawings) are confirmed and supplied with the quotation.

Quotation

Send the medium, temperature, pressure, size and connection for a quotation-ready inquiry. Lead time, MOQ and price are confirmed at quotation, together with the documents to be supplied with the order.

Sample & supply

Supply terms, order quantities and lead time are agreed per order — state the destination country and required schedule with the inquiry.

Storage & shipping

Store valves with seats and seals protected from UV, ozone and deformation, and keep end-face protectors on until installation; storage limits and shipping arrangements for the selected materials are confirmed at quotation.

Frequently asked questions
