Select this execution anywhere instruments hang off high pressure process lines - gauge isolation for calibration, transmitter mounting with a vent or second instrument, or any three-port instrument takeoff that must be serviced live. Choose the body alloy against the medium (316 SS general, Alloy 400 for HF and seawater, Alloy C-276 for oxidizing acids) and specify extended inlets where the valve must stand off insulated or hot pipework. Confirm the sour gas option against NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 where the medium carries H2S.

Why a multi-port gauge valve instead of a simple needle valve and root valve?
The multi-port execution carries the isolation bonnet and three instrument outlets in one body, so gauge replacement, transmitter mounting and calibration connections all land on factory-designed ports instead of field-assembled fitting clusters. Fewer joints at 6,000 psig is a direct leak-rate reduction, and the ports line up the instrument without bracketing.
What sizes and connections does the range cover?
End sizes 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 in with a single 0.250 in orifice. Connections cover MNPT and FNPT threaded pipe ends, pipe socket weld and pipe butt weld, plus manufacturer compression and grip-type tube ends, and 4 or 6 in extended inlets are available on the three-port gauge valves for insulated or hot-line stand-off.
Is the execution suitable for sour gas service?
Yes - materials selected in accordance with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 are available for sour gas service, specified as an option to the part number. State the H2S service requirement with the inquiry so the correct material package is confirmed at quotation.
